The Focus Awards Level 3 Diploma in Beauty Therapy (RQF) is aimed at those learners who have completed the Level 2 qualification, it builds on the existing knowledge and understanding, therefore enabling the learners to expand their scope of technical skills for employment as a beauty therapist.
Learners will learn how to plan prepare and deliver Level 3 beauty treatments safely and correctly in accordance with health and safety regulations and legislation.

Learners are required to create a portfolio of evidence which demonstrates achievement of all the learning outcomes and the assessment criteria associated with each unit.
This is a vocational qualification and requires the completion of assignments at home, the attendance of theory and practical at our center and the completion of a practical portfolio.
This qualification is delivered blended. Flexible arrangements can be made to arrange our Training Centre to complete the practical element of this course

The aim of this unit is to develop knowledge and understanding about the skills involved in providing body massage treatments. Learners will learn about the classical Swedish massage movements and how to adapt massage techniques to suit individual client needs.
The aim of this unit is to develop the knowledge, skill and understanding in a supervisory role focusing on health and safety within the salon. Learners will be able to identify salon hazards, carry out risks assessments and implement the necessary actions. Learners will also be able to monitor and support colleagues to ensure the salon complies with health and safety, they will learn how to implement and supervise salon procedures connecting to safety and security.
The aim of this unit is to develop the learner’s knowledge and understanding of promoting hair and beauty products within the salon including the ability to evaluate the effectiveness of the promotion.
The aim of this unit is to develop the learners’ knowledge and understanding of carrying out electrical needle epilation treatments to remove hair.
Learners will gain knowledge and understanding about improving face and skin conditions using direct high frequency, galvanic, EMA, microcurrent and lymphatic drainage equipment. Learners will be able to tailor specific courses of treatments to individual client needs.
